Fertilizer
Adapt fertilization to soil analysis.Always refer to the local and current rules about cropfertilization.Split application can prevent excessive initial foliagegrowth.Apply 2/3 before planting and 1/3 as top dressing.Pay attention to the timing of fertilization to ensure anaturally matured crop.Nitrogen (N) : Medium inputs (170-210Kg N/Hainclusive of soil supply).Potassium and phosphate fertilization as standardadvice.Pay attention to the amount of organic fertilizer toavoid later mineralisation.

ALLISON has a long dormancy.Cutting increases the risk of infections. Disinfect the knife and use chalk powder. Ensure fast dryingfor rapid curing. In colder climates wait 3-4 weeks before planting. ALLISON can be grown on all soil types. Can be planted with small white buds but good pre-sprouting can advance the crop.Follow the advised plant populations, as ALLISON gives high tuber numbers per plant.Wider planting is advised to get bigger size tubers.Do not plant in cold soils as this will increase the risk of Rhizoctonia infection.
Emergence is uniform with a good foliage development. In spite of the late maturity, ALLISON has an early tuberisation.ALLISON is quite sensitive to metribuzin, only use it pre-emergence.ALLISON has a good drought tolerance.Use a robust Phytophthora programme, to prevent foliage blight.ALLISON is fairly resistant to spraing.
Prevent regrowth because of virus sensitivity.ALLISON is quite resistant against bruising, unless extreme conditions occur.

Storage
ALLISON has a long dormancy and has good storability.ALLISON is suitable for long term storage.Dry quickly after harvest and keep dry to help prevent silver scurf. When ALLISON is used for (home) fry segment, potatoes should be stored at 7 °C
