• There were a variety of photographs I took in the creation of my ancillary task, and here I will present the number of drafts I considered for my poster and C.D cover and explain my reasons for not including them in my work. I decided not to use the band as the front cover of my C.D due to me not being able to find the right look. I could not find the right age range and the suitable genre to represent my band of an ‘Indie’ appearance, as most people i spoke to had a very busy schedule in college with their own work to attend to. Furthermore, there would be nobody in college to fit the correct age range, I was searching for late teenagers or early 20s to be the image of my C.D cover however having unable to do this I resulted in using a young teenage girl who is 13 years old. She is only a model and is just representing the C.D cover as she is fresh faced, attractive and is different from the usual indie style.

• This was an original image of my C.D cover, the look she expresses is quite blank and not ‘indie’ looking. I could not create an unusual image which was what I was looking to explore thefore I did not use this image.

• The black and white effect I put over the original image made it too dark to write the song names therefore I could not use this image as it did not look as professional however I changed the lightening on my final back cover which made the image much more effective and professional.

• This was my first draft of my advertisement, I thought this looked quite successful however as it was an advertisement it wasn’t too clear as the image was very dark. It also did not give off the message I was hoping for, ‘a view from another eye’. I wanted to present my advertisement with a distorted look which would be viewed upon much more unusual to grab my audiences attention.

• Below are original images in which I did not use because they was not the right ‘look’ I was searching for.
