Thanks to Buckeye Broadband’s BCSN­NLL sports credit program, Maumee City Schools accumulated enough credits forBuckeye to produce and air a 30­second commercial, at no cost to the district.

Credits are accumulated when BCSN airs live broadcasts of Maumee High School athletic events. The commercial startedshowing the week of October 8 on a number of the stations that Buckeye Broadband carries.

We are excited to be featuring students and staff from elementary school through high school and Jordan Strack, WTOLChannel 11 sports anchor, and 2003 Maumee High School graduate is featured as well.

A+ students Honored. Students Earned Perfect Score on OhioAchievement Assessments

At a Maumee Panthers home football game this fall, the school district recognized students who earned a perfect score onat least one of the Ohio Achievement Assessments they took last school year. These students are among a small numberof students across the state of Ohio who earned a perfect score.

Maumee's A+ students are: Hope Rison, Joseph Shrader, Autumn Gugger, Abram Sutherland, Wes Heywood, Penelope Farley, Lindsay Ou, Logan Simok, Audrey Wagner, Andrew Balcerzak, Justin Gao, Jacob Guthrie, Emma Helminski, Edwin Heywood, SkylerJanes, Beverly O'Neill, Ronald Gaines, Taylor Carter, Samuel Mullins, Michael Kovalik

These images were created by students enrolled in Maumee's AP­2­D Design Art Course. They will submit portfolios forgrading at the end of the term and may be awarded college credit by the College Board organization that oversees all APtesting at the high school level.

Maumee High School will honor inductees to the Athletic Hall of Fame and Hall of Excellence & Contribution, as well asthose receiving a Distinguished Alumnus Award, on Friday, January 25, 2019, at a basketball game and again onSaturday, January 26, 2019, at a dinner banquet. Golden Panther Cards Available for Senior CitizensMaumee grandparents and others who are at least 60 years old and reside within the boundaries of the school district mayobtain a Golden Panther Card that permits free admission to high school and middle school sporting events, concerts,plays, and musicals. Stop in the Administration Office building (716 Askin Street) for your card and please bring a photo I.D.so your address and age can be verified. Golden Panther Cards cannot be used at away contests or at Northern LakesLeague sponsored tournaments or special contests. Questions: (419) 893­2300.
