Town of Grand Chute [Appleton], WI – Members of the American Legion Post No. 38 welcome the public to a
Pig Roast, Wednesday, October 20, 2010, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Appleton American Legion at 3220 West
College Avenue (corner of College Avenue & Bluemound Drive) in Appleton (Town of Grand Chute).

For $10.00 for adults and $6.00 for kids age 12 and younger attendees will get a plate filled with generous
portions of roasted pig, dressing, sauerkraut, rolls, salad, and a beverage on the side. All profits will benefit
American Legion programs. Also that evening will be karaoke in the barroom.
Appleton’s American Legion Post No. 38 family (consisting of members of Post No. 38, Auxiliary Unit No. 38,
Sons of the American Legion Squadron No. 38, and the American Legion Riders Unit No. 38) prides itself in
being one of the most active Posts in the county, district, department, and nation. Appleton’s American
Legion Post No. 38 meets at 3220 West College Avenue, (in the Town of Grand Chute [Appleton]) at 7:30 PM
on the first Monday of each month.
The Post’s facilities are always open to the public with daily happy hour specials in the bar, karaoke every first
and third Wednesday of the month, plus banquet facilities and services for private group meetings and
gatherings of various sizes. Weekly on Tuesday and Friday evenings the restaurant is open to the public with
a full menu. The Appleton American Legion Post No. 38 family is dedicated to supporting and advocating the
best interests of veterans, promoting Americanism, goodwill, and camaraderie between its members and the
community.
