The Skinny on Prayer: https://skitguys.com/videos/item/the-skinny-on-prayer

(watch until 3:15)

What Prayer tends to Look Like….

We raise our MINDS and our HEARTS to God

We maintain our RELATIONSHIP with God

We strive for HOLINESS through God’s GRACE

We were CREATED for communion with God

PRAYER:

1) Blessing2) Adoration (Praise)3) Petition (Contrition) 4) Thanksgiving5) Intercession

*Why do we pray for others?*We are the BODY OF CHRIST (universal believers)*God tells us to pray for one another

Vocal Prayer:

Your Father knows what you need before you ask him. “This is how you are to pray:Our Father in heaven,*

hallowed be your name, your kingdom come,*

your will be done,on earth as in heaven.Give us today our daily bread;and forgive us our debts,*

as we forgive our debtors;and do not subject us to the final test,*

but deliver us from the evil one.If you forgive others their transgressions, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions.
