2/ April is in My Mistress Face Thomas Morley April is in my mistress' face is one of the best-known and shortest of English madrigals; it was published in 1594, and appears to be based on an Italian text by Livio Celiano, set by Orazio Vecchi in 1587.

Dindirin Ruth Morris Gray Dindirin is a cappella. This playful lyric, adapted from a traditional 15th century Spanish text, tells of a nightingale singing on a branch.

Festival Gloria Sherri Porterfield This fresh, contemporary setting of the "Gloria" will bring out the best of the choir. It opens softly with a chant-like section and builds with big, full choral writing filled with energy and vitality. Sherri Porterfield's music is fast becoming a part of the concert repertoire and her "Festival Gloria" is ideal for showing off for choir.

3/ Maya Ian Clarke 'Maya' is a beautifully dreamy and accessible piece using a few note bends. A good double-tonguing workout for each part with both lines sharing the soaring melody. Apart from the expressive use of open holes the parts proceed with alternating arching melodies and bubbling semi-quaver passages. The title ‘maya’ is in reference to the meaning ‘illusion’ as opposed to the South American civilization.
