The Agilent Bio-Monolith DEAE column provides a rapid and accuratesolution for monitoring fermentation-related impurities. Host genomic DNA(peak 2) was monitored throughout a phage proliferation. This analysisprovides the optimal time to stop the bioreactor before the DNA beginsto degrade (peak 3), which cannot be removed through purification.
