body start with the assumption that the body is in the anatomical position.

– Standing, face forward, palms outward.

• Fowler’s position:– sitting on stretcher

with head elevated 45 to 60 degrees.

• Trendelenberg:– lying with head

slightly lower than the feet.

– Used to treat shock.
