Antique wooden step ladders

The electrician has his name on everything including these folding chairs used for their lunches

Duct tape to maintain the chairs

We’re going to install three new windows in the link

The brick has been cut to accommodate the windows

Strothers came to cut the old brick out of the link to open up the kitchen access

The electrician and the bricklayer on site

Angle iron to hold up the upper brickwork

Sliding garage doors removed

Kubota on site, Oscar is confused

Finished with the wet saw on the brickwork

Three new windows installed

The girls are watching the progress

Everything has Prest Electric written on it

cleaning

Prest Electric clock with protective covering

I thought I’d write ‘not property Prest Electric’ on this piece of plywood used for a proposal

Everything chained together overnight

This is starting to get a bit nuts

Getting ready for the entrance system

Installation process

Where do you want this wire?

I need the wiring completed before I can proceed

Wires and lighting everywhere

It’s getting sorted out

Someone blew snow on the shed roof, Pete removes it

Heat duct for the porch being installed

Propane tanks being delivered and installed

Electrical inspection finished now we insulate and poly

Seal end of joists

Red tuct tape used to seal joints in the poly – acoustic sealant for the other joints

A slow but necessary process

Lots of corners and wires in the road

6 mil poly for the main floor ceiling

Acoustic seal along the seams

Ceiling first, then the walls

The Building Inspector can examine the work

Now it’s time to do the walls, insulation is in place

Tim delivers the drywall

Oscar would like a cookie

Which one is mine?

That’s ‘ west of Carlow ‘ – Tim got lost (bad directions)

We’ve hung the drywall on the main floor, dust on the lens

More drywall to install downstairs

Supply of drywall is slowly going down

Choose carefully – little waste

Back at it the next morning – nice sunrise

We install the grid ceiling

The link is drywalled as well

East end of the living area

Cove inside the squares

Attic blown insulation going in

Two man job

The phone number says it all

Ken and Oscar share lunch

Oscar is gentle when feeding on my lunch
