On behalf of the committee, we would like to welcome you to the 33rd Asthma Gift Fair! Once again we are delighted to be at the Hurlingham Club and thank them for their continued support and co-operation.

The Asthma Gift Fair was first launched in 1982 by a small committee, they were a united group with a solitary goal of helping to support their children or other family members with asthma and share their experiences.

The event has gone from strength to strength and over the 33 years over £1 million has been raised for Asthma UK. This has helped to fund world class asthma re-search with a Helpline staffed by specialist nurses. Raising awareness of the seri-ousness of asthma is still one of our main goals as sadly everyday three families will lose someone to asthma.

This fair would not be possible though without the help and support of Knight Frank who have been incredibly generous. Not only sponsoring the fair, but providing shopping bags, balloons and raffle prizes. Thank you from us all. We would also like to thank Nousha who have very kindly sponsored the wine for the Private View this year.

A big thank you to all the Stall Holders, without their loyal support and enthusiasm there would be no fair. All the generous people who donated prizes for the raffle and tombola vouchers. Asthma UK for all their help and hard work. Also The Duch-ess of Gloucester, our Patron, who is a big supporter of all our events.

Finally we would like to thank our wonderful committee who have always worked hard to make every fair a success! This year the main committee have taken over the running of the home produce stall. We hope it will be just as successful as when the ‘friends’ ran it.
