The Procurement Process

• This is an RFI only. A contract award will not be made from this solicitation.

• The RFI purpose is for LYNX to gain insight into the market, the opportunities, obtainappropriate data, understand suppliers/manufacturer capabilities, and to use this information to assist in the development of a Request For Proposal.

• The RFI is treated as a formal solicitation. Only sealed responses will be accepted.

• If you have any questions and/or concerns, please send an email to Anthony Jackson. An Addendum will be issued and posted on our website.

• An RFP will be released in the Fall of 2018.

LYNX operates four Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) routes branded collectively as“LYMMO.” Each operates downtown within the City of Orlando. Each route iscurrently provided fare-free; however, any designs for service shall include thepotential for both on-board and off-board fare collection. It is likely that off-board fare collection with “proof of payment” would be used if a fare wasimplemented, but on-board fare collection shall not be eliminated in designdecisions.
