Chapel and Crematorium

This project proposes a new chapel and

crematorium in Houston’s Glenwood Cemetery.

My design focused on conceptual duality of

life and death, mass and volume - both in

material and composition.

KIPP High School

This project designates a new KIPP high

school in South East Houston. My design

focuses on circulation and interaction between

the building and all users.5

In the Woods

For this project, we were able to choose a

painting and create a living space to reflect

the painting’s essence. I chose Asher Brown

Durand’s In the Woods (above) and sought to

create a tactile, engaging structure.

Agnes Martin Residence

This project started with a prompt for creating

a residence based on Agnes Martin’s The Tree

and The Sea. I pursued a tactile, specifically

proportioned living space surrounding

dedicated space for these works of art.
