What are you going to do?

Energy Efficiency Reducing the amount of energy you consume is always

the best place to start. Once you have made every effort to reduce your consumption, then you can look at adopting a solar and/or wind system.

Energy Audit Get an energy audit done for your home, your business

and/or your school. Make a note of how much energy you are consuming, what efforts you can make to reduce this and if you are a victim of phantom power.

Water Consumption

Insulating a house and replacing or covering drafty windows with plastic film can save considerable money

Wind Energy

Skystream 2.4 kw has potential to power an entire home.

$18,000 cost. Lethbridge College is creating a program to train people how to install these turbines.

Solar Energy

12 solar panels at 230 watts with 25 year warranty$18,000 installation

ENMAX installed 6 alternative energy technologies -solar domestic hot water systems, micro wind turbines and solar photovoltaic technologies for students and the community to explore the environmental benefits, technical aspects, and generating capacity of these technologies.

Social Justice club built 10 solar lanterns for people in Haiti. Lanterns should last 10-15 years and are used because the sun goes down around 6 p.m.
