• Evolve Mut+ and Mut- in an environment that awards some tasks.
• Compete Mut+ and Mut- in a new environment awarding different tasks.
Conlusions
• Mutators have an advantage• Mutators’ advantage counteracted by
population size.• Can’t determine the balance point where
neither have an advantage- need more granularity and larger N.
