• October 5, 2015 6:00 Parent meeting for seniors and juniors in the cafeteria.

• We will be presenting on the application process, scholarships, financial aid, letters of recommendation etc.

• November 9th 6:00 -6:30 Parent meeting about the TCC Endowment Scholarship in cafeteria.

• 6:30 PTSA is hosting a college financial planning event.

Texas Success Initiative formerly THEA (Accuplacer)

College Placement Test—required for Texas public colleges

Now includes a Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA)

Exemptions for certain SAT, ACT, PSAT scores

TCC Scholarship

Details on BISD website– Enrolled in BISD all of 11th and

12th grades– Complete all FAFSA process by

August 1 or January 15 prior to enrollment

– Set up and check MyTCC e-mails.

– Application to TCC for admissions

TCC Days

• October 16th TCC will be doing presentations through on level Govt. and Eco. classes. If you are taking dual credit or AP and wish to hear the presentation ask your teacher to allow you to attend one of the presentations.

• October 23rd TCC will be in the library assisting with PAA(Pre-Assessment Activity) and application to TCC.

• November 9th. Parent meeting about TCC Scholarship 6:00 in the cafeteria.
