We Listen… to you
◦Design Principles:◦ By following some very simple key design principles, we ensure that
every aspect of your project design is aligned with your business (People, IT and Business Processes) to measurably improve business performance.
◦ Our design principles are:
◦ Balance Privacy
◦ Make Work Visible
◦ Offer Inspiring Spaces
◦ Manage Connections
◦ Future Proof Facilities
◦ Integrate Technologies
◦ The benefits of good office design are extensive, if we consider the office an asset then we should also be able to measure return on investment.
◦ By collecting all the correct information from the outset, we can measure the success of your project.
Great Design, isn’t about throwing money at a project – it’s about how you spend it.
We believe we’re experts in our fields and we know how to extract every last drop of inspiration out of your tight budget and that works with how you and your business function daily.
When we’re designing a layout we approach it in a unique way.
We listen to you.
Collaborative Space:The world of work is changing.
It’s anywhere and anytime.
It’s highly collaborative.
Workers are mobile, diverse and
networked. Collaborative working is
one of the key business issues.
New technologies have transformed
working life and a growing number of
organisations recognise that
successful collaboration enhances
performance.
Four common ways of collaborating
have been identified: working in
pairs, working in small groups,
formal meetings and informal
interactions.
Working in small teams is more
efficient. People prefer to collaborate
in smaller groups because it is more
efficient and encourages each
member to contribute.
Collaborative Space:As part of the Broadgate brief
we were asked to provide a
space which could be used
for multiple uses, but still
provide privacy when
required during its main role.
Seating was chosen that can
be easily slid around the
space to create different
combinations.
A moveable partition
created the privacy
required and a calm
area for patients to sit
and read before
appointments.
Working
Space:Within the Broadgate brief the
two main areas of importance
were the reception area and the
treatment rooms.
Reception Space:
The new reception area
needed to provide the
Broadgate receptionists
with the space to work
and interact with their
patents, in keeping with
the company’s brand
colours.
Treatment
Rooms:Treatment rooms were redesigned so that the patients were sat at the side of the chiropractors as appose to sitting in front of a desk.
Brand colours were accented through the carpets, and chairs creating three unique rooms.
Changing
Space:
Every clinic needs to have an area that can be used for patients to change and leave their valuables whilst having as treatment.
This doesn’t mean that the space has to be dull and purely functional!
We have created four changing rooms that can be used by two people giving you essentially 8 changing rooms for use at any one time.
Using Every
Space:Every surface is an opportunity to communicate!
Simple stickers can transform your glazing or even storage wall into a brand message surface and basically…just make your office a much nicer place to be, and a workplace to feel proud of.
This not only gets valuable messages across to the patients and staff but gives the project a valuable burst of colour!
Thank You:I would like to offer my thanks to the following people from NI who helped make this project happen:-
Gary Sorsby - Drawings
Ian Catlow – Plumbing
James Tomkins – Joinery
Simon Crocket - Alarm
And all the FGS installation team who helped turn This to That!
This…..
to
That!
