December 2007: 30 metre shoreline setback with little development assumed. Old Lakeshore added to Urban Growth Boundaries

How We Got HereJune 2009: Council deletes 20m minimum shoreline setbackJune 2009: 20m City setback deleted

July 2009: Council approves Urban Design Guidelines

July 2009-Present: 1,500 residents join Save our Waterfront, objecting to changes they had no idea were happening

October 2009: OMB Hearing on Tim Hortons (TDL) appeal against City and Conservation Halton

July 2009: Urban Design Guidelines approved

Nov. 29, 2006: Meeting with landowners

Feb. 15, 2007: Meeting with landowners

March 8, 2007: Public meeting including 30 landowners, 30 residents, mostly those notified within 120 metres.

June 18, 2007: Public workshop as part of CDC meeting (Monday, 4 pm)

Nov. 19, 2007: Public meeting as part of CDC meeting (Monday, 6:30 pm)

March 25, 2009: Public meeting to present Urban Design Guidelines. Community told height, rezoning, setbacks have already been determined.
