There once was a tiny bug named Porky. He was the youngest of one hundred brothers and sisters. He was made fun of constantly because of his miniscule size. Even his parents were laughing at poor Porky!

Page 2

Eventually, everyone in the Amazon Rainforest was making fun of Porky. Porky was so angry and upset that he ran as fast as his little legs could take him. He ended up deep in the Amazon where no animals could be found.

Page 3

To make matters worse it starts raining. Porky doesn’t have any shelter , so he starts burrowing underground. He gets so far that he reaches groundwater, and gets so annoyed with water and all the animals who laughed at him. He starts absorbing the groundwater and hatches an evil plan…

Page 4

Porky notices that as he absorbs water he gets larger. Porky gets so lonely underground that he starts talking to himself. “I know what I shall do. The Amazon decides to make fun of me, then I will destroy them! I will absorb all the water in the entire earth, destroying the water cycle. I will grow into a giant and I will be the one laughing! Muahahaha!!!!!!”

Page 5

Porky bellowed a last evil laugh and then started absorbing all the groundwater, ounce by ounce, liter by liter. Porky started growing at an alarming rate. He at last absorbed all the earth’s groundwater and grew too big for his own burrow.

Page 6

He emerged from the ground, covered in mud and water. He continues with his evil plan by absorbing all the run-off water that went through the Amazon Rainforest. Porky also started absorbing the precipitation. He was bigger than even the trees now!

Page 7

He stomped out of the forest, where he begins his journey to the ocean. “I will destroy everyone!!” he thought. He trampled every living thing in his way and gave another evil laugh when he passed his family and everyone who made fun of Porky. He finally reached the ocean and managed to absorb all the water in every ocean on earth.

Page 8

Porky was so big that he reached the clouds. Porky thought to himself, clouds carry water too, so why not destroy the clouds and ruin the process of condensation and evaporation. The whole water cycle was now contained in his body, his evil plan was working.

Page 9

Porky was now the biggest creature on earth, nothing could stop him, or so he thought. He started making his way back to the Amazon to complete his final step, however he ran into a rather vicious parakeet named cookie. Cookie was a super hero sent by the government. He squawked, and assertively told Porky, “You will never get away with this!”

Page 10

Cookie takes a Ferocious peck at Porky. Some water spills out of Porky’s system but only a scarce amount. Porky laughs, “Ha, you thought you could stop me!” But then Cookie realized a natural force that would stop Porky. He bellowed, “I can not stop you, that is true but see what transpiration will do to you!”

On his way back to the Amazon all of the water evaporates off of him, restoring the water cycle. “Nnnnooo!” he yells. However, he is already in the Amazon and all of his friends have a new respect for him. His parents just calmly say, “Welcome home, son!” This is not how Porky wanted it to be, but at least people love him.
