CALDECOTT – In loving memory of Private J. V. Caldecott (1964), Who was drowned at Palm Beach on December 10, 1918. So short and sudden was the call, His sudden death surprised us all; Only those who have lost are able to tell, The pain at heart at not saying farewell. Friends may think the wound has healed, But they cannot see the sorrow in our hearts concealed. Inserted by his weeping mother and father, Mary and Edward Caldecott.
