Career Destinations
2013 Graduate Survey Montana State University–Bozeman
*Some graduates received two or more degrees and are repeated in the college summary under all degrees recieved1
2013 Career DestinationsEach year Career, Internship & Student Employment Services at Montana State University conducts a survey to determine placement rates and salary survey information from recent MSU graduates (Summer 2012, Fall 2012, and Spring 2013). Graduates were requested to participate in the survey to provide relevant information regarding the transition from college to career/graduate school. The contents of this document reflect the information gleaned from that effort, demonstrating “life after university“ with regard to employment, graduate school, salary, location, etc.
There were 2,403 graduates and 1,379 respondents (57.4% response rate). • 72.9% (n=995) indicated they were employed full-time in field. • 14.9% (n=204) indicated they were employed part-time. • 5.5% (n=75) indicated they were not employed and not seeking. • 6.7% (n=91) indicated they were not employed, but seeking employment.
