Introduction

Nature of work

•Things they do are as fallowed

•Enforces Hunting and fishing laws.•Enforces off road vehicle laws•Educates people with laws.•Teaches courses including Snowmobile license classes and hunter safety courses.•Some Forensics/ undercover investigation

Working Conditions

Mostly OutdoorsShifts vary from season to season.Some indoorsVaried shiftsInclement weather.

Training, Qualifications, Advancement

College degree not required but may enhance employment opportunities.Physical trainingPass written exam.Pass medical exam.

Job Outlook

Employment rate is at an average rate.Its not a competitive job.Job openings are anywhere in the state and in other states.I would prefer to work in Michigan. More specifically Up north or in Lapeer.

Earnings

The Earnings are as fallowed:

Probationary Officer: 30-35 thousand a yearConservation officer: 40-60 thousand a yearSergeant or captain: 50-65 thousand a yearChief Conservation Officer: 80-85 thousand a yearBuy a 2006 Black Dodge Ram.

Summary

I feel that this job will fit me. In this job, I look forward to working with my other officers and being

in dangerous situations. Also helping the environment and enforcing hunting and fishing laws.

But mostly, working in the outdoors.
