PLEASE PRAY FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR SERVICEMEN AND WOMEN:
The Walking with Purpose parish program at St. Catharine is introducing a new session this fall: Discovering our Dignity, a study that gives us modern-day advice from women of the Bible. We learn that women of the Old and New Testament were sometimes as flawed and broken as we can be. Yet, the power of God worked in their lives. They reach out to touch our
“present” in a tender, honest and loving way – woman to woman. In addition to Discovering our Dignity, St. Catharine will also offer Opening Your Heart. This foundational Catholic Scripture-based program is designed for women who are new to WWP, as well as those with prior Bible Study experience. We welcome past participants and invite new women to join us!
Walking with Purpose meets for 18 biweekly sessions, from September through May. We will offer 2 meeting times: Wednesday evenings, from 6:30-8:00 OR Thursday mornings, from 10:00-11:30, beginning September 6th and 7th. Child care will be available for the morning session.
Walking with Purpose is a Catholic Scripture-based program that aims to bring women to a deeper, personal re-lationship with Christ through personal study and small group discussions that link our everyday challenges with solutions given to us through the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church. For more information, go to www.walkingwithpurpose.com.
Questions? Contact Beth Henney at henneybeth@gmail.com. We hope to see you!
A PrAyer for the SAfety of our Servicemen And Women: Almighty and eternal God, as these soldiers discharge their duties in service to their country, please keep them safe from all evil and harm and protect them in Your loving care. Enable them to return home safely, that with all who love them, they may ever praise You. We pray this through Christ, Your Son. Amen.
