Time: 7:00pm
Where: CIPI Board Room
Activity and Financial Reports will be presented,
along with the election of four Directors for two year
terms. Everyone is welcome to attend and we look

As an incentive, CIPI has implemented a monthly draw to win a free month of cable service for Cable subscribers that have their account at a zero balance or prepaid at the end of the month. This month a total of 112 subscribers were entered into this draw. Just a reminder to all cable subscribers, CIPI strives to maintain good service, however we need to stress the importance of keeping your account up to date. In order for us to provide service, we must pay for that service up front therefore in essence we are pre-paying on your behalf.

In Loving Memory of George Roy
Many a lonely heartache,
Often a silent tear, But always beautiful memories,
Of the one we loved so dear. Sadly missed and forever loved
from Claire Roy
The dearest brother, the kindest friend, One of the best God could lend,
Loving thoughtful, gentle, and true Always willing a kind act to do.
God saw the road was getting rough, The mountains hard to climb.
He gently closed your weary eyes, And whispered “Peace be Thine”.
You left sweet memories to blossom, Bearing fruit for the years to come, In the lives of those who loved you,
Precious memories of days that are gone. Sadly missed from the Family

ASIST TRAINING On February 8 & 9, 2010, we are offering
the ASIST - Applied Suicide Intervention
Skills Training in Beauval @ the Church
Meeting Room. The fee for this two-day
intense training is $20.00 per person. The
cost will offset your kits plus lunch and
snacks. We stress each participant to be on
time as it is very intense and we require the
entire time to complete the full training. We
will begin at 9:00am - 3:00pm both days.
This training will provide you with the
skills to be more confident, competent, and
comfortable in helping to prevent the
immediate risk of suicide. Snacks and lunch
will be provided.
We have seats available for (10) people, so
if you are interested in signing up please
give Shirley Bell-Morin a call at 288-2025
or leave a message.
Thanks and hope to see you there!
Village Council Notes
The Council of the Northern Village of
Beauval held their regular monthly meeting on
January 28, 2010 at the Village Office
Boardroom. The first meeting of the year has
annual agenda items such as appointments of
the Deputy Mayor, Clerk, Assessor, Auditor,
Solicitor and also review the different
portfolios for each Councilor. The regular
monthly meeting dates are also set at this time
for the year and the Administrator is also
required to present to Council all bonds or
policies of guarantee of municipal employees.
Our meeting did not go this way as Council
had a lot of employee performance and
financial inquiries as to why the municipal
debt is so high with no repayment plan in
place. A motion was passed to terminate the
administrator effective immediately. Lydia
Gauthier is appointed acting administrator for
the time being. The meeting also had to be
adjourned at that time as there was no
municipal employee to record the minutes. A
special meeting was held on Monday,
February 1st to finish the agenda.
Regular meetings of Council are set for the 4th
Monday of the month - next regular meeting is
on Monday, February 22 starting at 7:00 pm.
Council can change the regular meeting date
but will have to advertise to the community.
Council is currently looking at options on how
to tackle our debt and one of the easier ways is
to go after the ones that owe the village money
such as landowners with unpaid taxes.
If there are any issues with the services the
village provides or lack thereof, please contact
Lydia at the village office. The staff is there to
handle the day to day affairs of the village.
Contact any one of the Council members or
submit a letter or attend a Council meeting if
you are not satisfied with your dealings with
the village. Fred Roy, Mayor
