Commemorative aerogrammeThis aerogramme commemorates the centenary of Australia’s first airmail flight in July 1914.Maurice Guillaux was the first pilot and flew from Melbourne to Sydney in a Bleriot XI aircraft.

Print out your template in colour. Use scissors to cut around the black lined edges.

1.

Write your letter on the back of the aerogramme (avoid the flaps) and also on the front bottom panel.

2.

Fill in both the address labels.

3.

Fold your aerogramme along the dotted lines, beginning with the bottom panel and then the flaps as shown.

4.

Seal the flaps with a little glue. the addresses should be showing on; one on the front and the other on the back.

5.

If you wish to send this aerogramme to a friend or relative you will need to put it in a DL envelope, put on a stamp and post it like regular mail.
