Home Based Learning Term 3 2021
Year 1, Week 3
Creative Thinking Challenge for Week 3
(A message from Mrs Parry)
Creative thinking is an important skill to develop! Creativity is a like a muscle, we need to use it to make it stronger and it is a skill that is essential for 21st century learners.
I would like to challenge all the students at St John’s to think creatively during HBL. I will share one question per week which will be sent out via each year group’s HBL link.
This challenge is optional and great for extending our capable learners. Students can respond in any way they like, write, draw, paint, sculpt, video, voice
memo, PowerPoint/slides, puppet shows, storybook, song, advert- any creative idea is welcome!
If you complete the challenge, email your answer to Mrs Parry kerrie.parry@dbb.catholic.edu.au. There will be a winner each week for K-2 and 3-6 whose work will be published on FB!
This week’s challenge: Design an aeroplane for hauling nervous kangaroos.
