Custom Prescription
Compounding
Scott Popyk R.Ph, FIACP Founder
About Us Health Dimensions Compounding Pharmacy has been
providing customized prescriptions to doctors and patients
since 1996. We are a specialty pharmacy whose focus is on
improving the quality of prescription care for patients every-
where. From the beginning, our systems and procedures
have been built upon the highest standards in the industry.
To this end, we have recently been awarded Pharmacy Com-
pounding Accreditation Board (PCAB) certification; among
the first pharmacies to do so.
Health Dimensions is able to meet your medication needs.
Our laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility, comprised of three
separate, uniquely designed laboratories: general
compounding, potent chemicals and sterile services. All
formulas are prepared with pure ingredients sourced from
FDA registered suppliers and manufacturers. Specific quality
control measures permeate all processes during order
fulfillment.
Since 1996, Health Dimensions has been built upon a
dedication to quality. Now, PCAB accreditation makes
choosing a quality prescription compounding facility easier for
doctors and patients. We look forward to serving you!
What is pharmaceutical compounding? Compounding is the exercise of preparing custom dosed
medications. Therapies are tailored to an individual’s needs
when a commercial medication is not available in the dose,
form or strength needed. Many patients are allergic to
preservatives, dyes or are sensitive to standard strengths.
With a physician’s order a compounding pharmacist can
change the strength of a medication, alter its form to make it
easier for the patient to ingest and add flavor to make it more
palatable. A compounding pharmacy can also prepare the
medication using unique delivery systems such as a troche or
lozenge, a lollipop or transdermal gel. Preparing these
customized medications allows compounding pharmacists to
achieve the ultimate goal: to help the physician and patient
achieve a positive therapeutic outcome.
