Engine Exhaust Air Heating Box
The heating box 1 is attached to the exhaust air side of the engine.
The heating box flap 2 is controlled via a Bowden wire 3 which actuates the control lever.
28
Heating Air Control -Infinitely Variable
Pull controllever4 downwards - heating box flap 2 is opened, the engine exhaust air escapes (summer operation).
Operation of Heating
Lever 4 upwards - heating box flap 2 is closed.
When the heating box 1 is closed, the warm air flows through two hoses into the foot room.
Tractive Operation
Particular caution will be necessary when coupling up trailers and implements.
Mount trailers and implements only with the specified devices.
Observe the permissible rear axle load!

Control of Implements
A In order to avoid damage to the cab and/or to the rear portion ofthetractorbysemi-mounted implements ortrailers in all possible operating positions, first carry through a trial mounting and a short test run. Special caution is necessary in consideration of the maximum lifting height of three-point implements and of the narrowest turns of trailers!
When negotiating bends with semi-mounted or coupled up implements, the broad turning radius and the centrifugal momentum of the implements must be taken into consideration.

Track Adjustment
A All clamping screws and nuts of front and rear wheels must be retightened after 20 hours of operation with the specified tightening torques (page 127). This retightening provision must also be observed after each track adjustment and after each wheel change.
The particular bolt connections which are to be retightened are described in the respective chapters "Front track adjustment" and "Rear track adjustment".

Service and Maintenance Servicing intervals, operating agents and filling volumes can be found in the folded servicing chart.
A Carry out all maintenance work only with the engine shut off. If necessary, sercure tractor against rolling away.
For servicing and maintenance, the panels and engine hood can be taken off or lifted.
After finishing the service and maintenance works, all panels and hoods which had been lifted forthis purpose must be refitted and all protection devices must be remounted again, according to the provisions.

Checking of Engine Oil Level Changing of Engine Oil
A to be performed daily before starting to work.
Position the tractor on level ground.
Pull out the oil dipstick, wipe it off with a lintfree cloth, re-insert the dipstick and pull it again.
The oil level is correct if it is between the marks on the oil dipstick.
Replenish with oil if necessary.
76
A Position the tractor on level ground.
The engine should still have operating temperature.
Be careful when draining oil. The oil is hot and may scald you!
The illustration shows the oil sump from below.
Unscrew oil drain plug. When the oil has run out completely, screw drain plug in again, and check for proper sealing.
Adding Fresh Oil
Add fresh oil through oil filler neck.
The oil level is correct if it is between the marks on the oil dipstick.
Store waste oil in the waste oil collecting tank.
For oil specification and filling volume, see technical data pages 131 and 132.
Electrical System
A Any work on the electrical system should be exercised with extreme care.
Special caution should be observed during all work on the battery.
The gases emitted by the battery are explosive. Therefore, avoid formation of sparks and open flames in the vicinity of the battery. Do not smoke.
Do not let acid touch ypur skin or clothing.
