Title I Support● Title 1 is the largest federal aid program for public schools in the United States.

This resource began in 1965 and continues to be re-authorized today. We receive

funds based on the number of students who qualify for the free and reduced lunch

program.

● We currently have 10 campuses identified as Title I school-wide campuses:

Basswood, Bluebonnet, Caprock, Friendship, Heritage, North Riverside, Parkview,

Whitley Road, Chisholm Trail, and Fossil Hill. Next year, we will add Vista Ridge.

● These campuses provide additional support and resources to students to help

ensure that all educational needs are supported.

● Resources can include classroom materials, additional tutoring, additional direct

instruction, transportation, and technology.
