Instructions for Austin ISD teachers to manage email attachments.

Open Lotus Notes
Lotus Notes Application
Webmail in Firefox or Internet Explorer
Open the email with an attachment.
Double-click on the attachment.
Open the attachment.
Pull down the corner menu (file or )
Click on “Save As”
Note: this is not where you want to save!!!
This is a TEMPORARY notes file… you need to
tell the computer WHERE to save the attachment
Click on “Desktop”
Then click “Save”
Fill in the form…
Save the form
Go BACK to your email & create a New message
Attach the completedform on your desktop
Attach the completeddocument
& send the email!!!
