Introduction

The region of our choice is Goregaon. It is a locality in Mumbai city, which falls in the Mumbai suburban district, Maharashtra, India.

Goregaon is divided into east and west. It is largely a residential area and it is thickly populated. Within it are various places of fitness. These include sports clubs, gyms, walking parks, grounds and schools.

The Government and private bodies are taking an active part in constructing and maintaining these facilities for the people of this area. These facilities are open to all . While some are free of cost, others are not.

According to the graph, more number of people are exercising to stay fit. This is followed by those who visit the gym to motivate themselves and last is those who visit the gym as they are pressurised by people around them.

The graph shows that more number of people visit the gym in the morning, followed by those who visit the gym in the afternoon and the least in the evening.

Results: HomeThe results show that more number of people are aware of the need to stay fit. Even so, this group of people do not visit the gym to exercise. On the other hand, there are others who are not aware of the same.
