Fairtrade continues to grow in Asia & Oceania with over 188,000 farmers and workers represented by 143 producer organizations. The NAPP is the Fairtrade producer network representing the interests of producers in Asia and Oceania to Fairtrade International, the global umbrella organization for Fairtrade.

Network of Asian and Pacific Producers (NAPP)

The NAPP was founded on 16th June, 2005. Producers from different Asian countries built the network to present a united voice on behalf of Asian farmers and workers to Fairtrade International FLO.

Mission • NAPP's mission is to serve as an organ of representation, coordination, exchange, and collaboration for the empowerment of small-scale farmers and farm workers from Asia and the Pacific within the framework of Fairtrade Certification.

• NAPP also works to ensure that Asian and Pacific realities and conditions are taken into account while setting Fairtrade Standards without compromising on the basic principles of Fairtrade.
