1 Praise the LORD. Praise, O servants of the LORD,

praise the name of the LORD.

2 Let the name of the LORD be praised, both now and forevermore.

3 From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the

LORD is to be praised.

4 The LORD is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens.

5 Who is like the LORD our God, the One who sits enthroned on high,

6 who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?

7 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap;

8 he seats them with princes, with the princes of their people.

9 He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children.

Praise the LORD. Psalm 113:1-9 (NIV)

2. Owe Love to Everyone

1 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 1 John 4:7-11

The Instruction: “let us love one another”—verse 7

The Manifestation: “God sent His only begotten Son… to be the atoning sacrifice…that we might live through Him” —verses 9 and 10

The Origination: “not that we loved God, but that He loved us”—verse 10

The Motivation: “if God so loved us…”—verse 11

The Instruction: “we also ought to love one another”—verse 11

The Definition: “God is love”—verse 8

2. Owe Love to Everyone

34 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35

Love is the Fulfillment of the Law

Love is the Fulfillment of the Law2. Owe Love to Everyone

What does it mean to love?DO NO HARM!

“Love does no harm to its neighbor” (Romans 13:10)

11 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. 12 She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.

Proverbs 31:11-12 (NIV)

Do No Harm• "Do not commit adultery," • "Do not murder," • "Do not steal," • "Do not covet," and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Romans 13:9 (NIV)

Do No Harm

27 "You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY'; 28 but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matthew 5:27-28

“Do Not Commit Adultery”

13 Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you. 14 With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning! 2 Peter 2:13-14

Do No Harm

21 "You have heard that the ancients were told, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER' and 'Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.' 22 "But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court. Matthew 5:21-22

“Do Not Murder”

“Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy; No one who has a haughty look and an arrogant heart will I endure.” Psalm 101:5

“He who spreads slander is a fool.” Proverbs 10:18 (NASB)

“Love is the Fulfillment of the Law”

28 Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty." 29 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus' lips. 30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. John 19:28-30

“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13

In the secret, in the quiet place,

in the stillness You are there.

In the secret,

in the quiet hour I wait only for You,

‘Cause I want to know You more.

I want to know You,

I want to hear Your voice,

I want to know You more.

I want to touch You,

I want to see Your face,

I want to know You more.

I am reaching for the highest goal,

that I might receive the prize.

Pressing onward,

pushing every hindrance aside,

out of my way,

‘Cause I want to know You more.

In the Secret

I want to know You,

I want to hear Your voice,

I want to know You more.

I want to touch You,

I want to see Your face,

I want to know You more.

In the Secret

I want to know You,

I want to hear Your voice,

I want to know You more.

I want to touch You,

I want to see Your face,

I want to know You more.
