What did you like
about the activity?
Did you have to
change some parts of
the activity? If so, why?
How did you reinforce
the TIPS Strategy after
the Four Corners
Activity?
What is the format of the quiz?
How many items will be included in the
test?
What rubric will be used to grade the
quiz?
Where can we get some word problems
for the quiz?
Is this measuring the effectiveness of the
TIPS Strategy or students’ problem
solving skills?
Format of the test must mirror the pre-test
we gave
Justification box
1 or 2 word problems
All are using the same rubric for multiple

Create a focus quiz to be given between tomorrow and next cluster meeting. This will include
a) the standard/topics discussed last week and this week
b) at least one word problem
BRING STUDENT WORK NEXT WEEK and
a completed HML sheet, that includes
quantitative and qualitative data from the
focus quiz.
Predict the result of your focus quiz for next week in terms of how many will be High, Medium and Low. (Make sure that the total is equal to the number of students taking the test).
What were the bases of your prediction?
What would be a good evidence that the TIPS strategy is helping students?
