8:30 – 8:45 AM: Arrive in the main lobby of the DACWe will gather in the common area inside the main doors of the lobby before leaving at 8:45 AM sharp

8:45 AM: We will walk down the stairs to the Q46 MTA BusWe will take the bus to the Union Turnpike/Queens Boulevard Subway Station to catch the F Train to Manhattan

9:30 AM: Arrive at 23rd Street & 6th AvenueWe will disembark from the train and walk one block east. We will stop at the Starbucks on 23rd Street for Coffee before continuing. Students who wish to meet us in the city Sunday morning can meet us at this Starbucks

10:00 AM: We will leave Starbucks and begin our walk up Fifth Avenue

The famous boomerang shaped Flatiron Building, also known as the Fuller Construction Company Building, which was opened in 1903, will be the first building we will see on our walk

11:00 AM: Arrive at Empire State Building

We will go right into the lobby and proceed to the Observation Deck of the Empire State Building

12:00 PM: Depart Empire State BuildingSome of the sites we will see along the way

St. Patrick’s Cathedral

1:00 PM: Arrive at Rockefeller CenterWe will walk through Rockefeller Center as we make our way to the Observation deck at “Top of the Rock”

2:00 PM: Lunch with the Halal Guys!

After lunch, on to…

4:00 PM: Arrive back at SJU Campus via E Train & Q46 BusMetroCards for use on our Field Trip will be distributed as you arrive at the DAC on Sunday morning
