Ambar FGM is a two-step conventional adhesive system (5th
generation), which formula was developed to assure the adequate
penetration of the monomers into the collagen fibers of demineralized
dentin. Depois de polimerizado, After polymerization, Ambar generates
a stable and resistant adhesive film, contributing to its clinical longevity.
The presence of nanoparticles in the composition contributes to the
increase of the mechanical resistance and chemical stability of the
polymerized adhesive film. In addition, the chemical characteristics of
Ambar warrant adequate polymerization of the product on wet surfaces,
such as dentin.
AMBAR GATHERS ALL QUALITIES OF A DIFFERENTIATED ADHESIVE.

CONFIRMED EFFECTIVENESS AND CLINICAL SAFETY
Tested post-operatory sensitivity: clinical evaluations of many dental surgeons report absence of post-operatory sensitivity.
SEE AMBAR’S HIGH PERFORMANCE IN CLINICAL EVALUATION:
The balance of the chemical composition of Ambar assures its excellent
polymerization, preventing the release of substances capable of causing post-
operatory sensibility, in addition to the formation of a good adhesive layer, with long
and obliterating tags, minimizing the movement of fluids to the dentin.

Association).
STEP BY STEP
The product is indicated for direct and indirect adhesive restorations (aid in
adhesive cementation) and also in repair of indirect restorations.
Below, a case is presented illustrating the way of application of the adhesive on dental surface
(enamel and dentin). This application should be preceded by the steps required as per each
indication, being that each situation may have a different clinical protocol.
1a - 1b: After cleaned, both
surfaces – of enamel and dentin –
should be conditioned for 15 seconds,
with phosphoric acid (Condac 37).
5 and 6: The adhesive is then
lightcured for 10 seconds (or 20
seconds for intracanal application) by
blue light lightcuring unit with minimum
power density of 400m W/cm2.
Then, restoration may continued or
proceeding with adhesive cementation,
etc., depending on the case.
4: The application of a slight air jet for 10 seconds
helps evaporation of the solvent and contributes
to the adhesion.
2: The acid is removed with plenty of
water and the surface is dried, leaving the
substrate slightly damp. If the surface is too
dry, a dampened cotton ball may be applied
to the tooth.
3: A drop of Ambar (FGM) should be
dispensed in micro application tips Cavibrush
(FGM). The first layer of adhesive is then
applied by rubbing it for 10 seconds. Then, a
second layer is applied for 10 seconds more,
using a new drop of adhesive.

THEY HAVE INVESTIGATED
DRA. ALESSANDRA REISDoctor in Dental Materials from the School of Dentistry of the University of São Paulo, SP;
Guiding Professor of the Post-Graduation Course of UEPG/PR/Brazil.
“I have followed the development of Ambar since its
preliminary stages up to the final formulation of the adhesive. I
was impressed by the laboratory and clinical results obtained
with the material, which were similar to the highly reputable
adhesives in the Brazilian and international markets. The
launch of Ambar will be a landmark in the market, showing the
Brazilian companies can formulate products with quality similar
and even above that of international products!”
DR. JORGE PERDIGÃODMD from the University of Lisbon, Portugal; Master in Dentistics (University of Iowa - USA);
Specialization in Dentistics (University of Iowa - USA); Doctor’s in Dental Materials (Catholic
University of Leuven - Belgium); Head Professor of Operatory Dentistics at the University of
Minnesota - USA.
“Ambar has resulted in an effectively filled hybrid layer.”
“The development of an adhesive system is always a
challenge to a company, since this situation requires many
efforts and many preliminary studies. In the case of Brazil, this
is an even higher challenge, because the domestic market
lacks good quality products manufactured here. FGM seems
to have again done its “home work”, because the lab and
clinical results with Ambar that we obtained have shown that
this adhesive is really a material of excellent quality and can
be used without any sort of suspicion by Brazilian dentists.”
Specialist and Master in Dentistics (FO-UFPEL); Doctor in Dental Materials (FO-USP/ Brazil);
Professor of Dentistry and Materials (UNOESC/Joaçaba/SC/ Brazil) and Dentistry (UEPG/PR/
Brazil).
DR. ALESSANDRO LOGUÉRCIO
DR. CARLOS EDUARDO FRANCCIGraduated from the School of Dentistry of the University of São Paulo - Brazil (FO-
USP/ Brazil); Master and Doctor in Dental Materials (FO-USP/ Brazil); Coordinator of the
Group Francci de Estudos em Estética; Coordinator of Update Courses in Dentistics at
FUNDECTO.
“Being a clinical and laboratory investigator, I received
Ambar to use in my private practice. Since I have a good
relationship with the researchers that tested Ambar and
know quite well how serious FGM is in looking into a product
exhaustively before launching it, I felt safe in using it clinically.
Immediately I could assess the post-operatory sensitivity,
which was zero in more than three months of usage. Its way
of application is similar to that of the major adhesive systems
of the same family already consecrated in the market. All
these issues warrant a smooth and safe change to the
consumers of the new national adhesive, Ambar.”
