Framing – Photography Composition Frames within Frames

Contiguous (con·tig·u·ous) \kən-ˈti-gyə-wəs\ Adjective 1. sharing a common border; touching. "the 48 contiguous states" synonyms: adjacent, neighboring, adjoining, bordering, next-door; 2. next or together in sequence

Connect-the-Dots The frame does not touch but leaves th e viewer’s eye to fill in the missing pieces to complete or connect the frame around the main subject.

Framing is simply using other objects in your photograph to frame the main subject.

This is probably one of the easier composition techniques in photography. Framing

brings more depth to the picture and a better focus on what the main subject is.
