taking this terrific opportunity of a life-time, we
are sad to be saying good bye!

Brooke completed her final 4th year teaching
rounds this year in our Prep rooms with Mrs Lynch
and Miss Catterick and was a terrific addition to
our staff. We know that Brooke will make another
invaluable asset to our teaching team during 2019.
We are also welcoming Michelle Scott into our
school in the role of front office administration
assistant, replacing Cheryl Campbell who is retir-
ing early Term 1 2019. Michelle comes to us from
Mornington SC and has experience in administra-
tion roles. Michelle has lots of energy and we are
looking forward to her joining the front office team.
Thankfully Cheryl Campbell will return to Frank-
ston Primary School for the first 2 weeks of Term 1
to help Michelle with the transition into her role.
A reminder that:
All 5/6 classes will be within the Dolphin Centre as
a 5/6 Learning Community
The Grade 3/4 classes will be positioned with two
upstairs in current rooms and 2two down
stairs in current 5/6 rooms
The Computer lab desktops to be deployed within
3 – 6 learning areas
LAST DAY CURRICULUM DAY Just a reminder that Thursday 20th December is the final day of school for students this year.
The last day of this term, Friday 21st December, is
our final Curriculum Day for the year. Teaching
staff will be involved in planning for new classes
and new students for the 2019 year. This is a
student free day.
STUDENT REPORTS End of year student reports will be sent home with students on Tuesday. Take time to celebrate your child’s achievements with them and set some goals for the year ahead to further support their learning. CHRISTMAS FAREWELL

The last of our ICE CREAMS will be on sale at the canteen Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until they are all sold out so children are welcome to bring along their $2:00 on these days.
SCHOOL IMPROVEMENTS New Ipads: The start of next year will see 70 new ipads into our P – 2 area. Our prep grades will have 30 ipads to share between 2 classes and our 1/2 classes shall have 40 new ipads to share between the 4 grades (20 housed upstairs and 20 housed downstairs).
New student laptops: The start of next year will also see 50 new student laptops into our 3 – 6 classroom learning areas. These laptops will complement laptops already in these areas, along with the increased desktops deployed from the computer lab. This will make for a very exciting time throughout our school as we enhance our work utilising ICT equipment to support enhanced stu-dent learning.
New school sign: You may have been past the front of our school and noticed our new sign (near the front brick fence). It looks fabulous and will be a terrific way for our school to communicate key activities with our school community and also showcase the great work we do to our wider community.
Electrical connection and cabling will occur over the holiday period,
ready for action for the start of the new term.
WOW! We have a lot to look forward to in 2019!

FRANKSTON PRIMARY SCHOOL’S PERFORMING CHOIR
Our Performing Choir visited Bayside and Myer in Frankston last Wednesday bringing joy to our local community as they sang Christmas Carols. The children were very excit-ed to perform and the reception they got was wonderful. A huge thanks to Sally Grage Moore for the wonderful work she has done in preparing our School Choir for these performances. If you missed them don’t be disappointed as they are visiting again this Wednesday 19th December at 11:45am starting just outside Target.
