Requesting Info – Letters of Recommendation

Check to make sure your school requires a L.O.R. –most do not. Common App required.

• Select and ask a teacher who knows you and your abilities.

• Allow a minimum of 10 school days for a LOR.

Apply to schools before requesting transcripts.

Self Reporting Academic Record

NCAA Clearinghouse – Division 1 or 2 sports Transcripts should have been requested at the end of your

junior year. If you didn’t do this, do it now.

Transcript Requests Unofficial – most scholarships will accept unofficial transcripts

Official- All colleges require official transcripts.

Complete and submit Transcript Request Form to Mrs. Ditzler in the Counseling Office.

Wait one or two days – then continue.

You must have colleges in your “Colleges I’m Applying To” list to request a transcript.
