WHY YOU SHOULD BECOME A PARTNER
INTERNATIONAL NEWSCHINA WITH 2000 TEAMSThe Global Management Challenge came to China 17 years ago and since then it has not stopped growing. Success in Asia has been impressive, with the annual membership now in excess of 2,000 teams.
RUSSIA AIMS TO REACH 3000 TEAMSThe ambition of the organisers of the Global Management Challenge 2012 in Russia is reaching 15,000 participants, spread over 3,000 teams. The competition arrived in Russia six years ago and the growth achieved already is clearly visible.
SUPPORT AND EVENTSSupporting GMC provides opportunities for the corporate business community to work together with talented university students who wish to participate in the challenge. Partners can use GMC as part of their strategic recruitment process. They will be able to identify potential recruits by working closely with the students throughout the whole GMC process and gain an insight into the potential ability, character and personality of the students in their teams, as well as evidence of their ability to work under pressure.
Previous history shows that students actively embrace GMC with a real enthusiasm and desire to win, whilst gaining invaluable business experience and the opportunity to connect with progressive, dynamic businesses. Each edition of GMC is also an opportunity to socialise, network, share experiences and make new contacts around the world.
Each team of 5 participants is named after the sponsoring company. After the initial Launch Events, there follows a period of ‘knock out’ rounds, culminating in a National Final. The winner of the National Final will go forward to represent the UK in the International Final, which is itself a unique and enriching experience.
THE ROAD TO SUCCESS
The winner of the National Final will represent the UK in the International Final of the Global Management Challenge, played between the top teams in over 40 countries participating.
