• Kids under 19 in families that earn less than 133% FPL will be eligible for free Medicaid coverage.

• Increase in payments to match Medicare rates for pediatrician and primary care physicians.

• SCHIP will continue until 2014 which means that all kids will have access to affordable, comprehensive health insurance.

• Allows more Americans access to affordable prescriptions- especially children.

• Funds a childhood obesity program.

• Creates grant programs to grow numbers of primary care, geriatric, oral health, and psychiatric workforce

• 2014 and beyond, government provides tax credit of up to 50% of employer’s contribution if purchasing through the National Exchange
