how i made my poster

I created my poster onPaint Shop Pro and I usednumerous layers to getall of the differentelements in the image.

This is the backgroundpicture I used in myposter. I chose it as thetrees on either side framethe rest of the picture inthe middle andemphasise thecharacter’s isolation andexaggerate the feeling ofbeing trapped.

The second layer consistsof the pentagram. I didn’tlike any of the photos ofthe pentagrams we used inour filming so I painted onein red paint and tookphotos of it whilst it wasstill red. I then used theclone tool to clone thisimage over the picture ofthe trees.

For the third layer I foundthis picture of the maincharacter. I chose thispicture because of theway she is looking overher shoulder atsomething the audiencecan’t see. I also like theexpression on her face asit shows her fear andconfusion.

I then erased thebackground and clonedthe picture on top of theother images to get thispicture (left).

Finally I typed up thetitle, tagline and billingblock for my poster andput them on my poster.
