Every artist in the gallery represents a brand (hotel, restaurant, tour company, etc)

Etc.

An artist has a vision of what they want people to see in their artwork.

Reality: People may see something completely different than what the artist is trying to communicate.

Art lovers and buyers are the ones who call the artist a genius…

Art Lovers & Buyers

Art lovers and buyers are the travel writers, bloggers and journalists who are interested in your brands.

Open houses, showings and exhibitions are important because an artist never knows who will connect with their work.

Like art exhibitions, media invitations and press trips are important because a brand never knows who will connect with their work on a deeper level.

Every good gallery needs a “curator”.

Curator for “Stockholm” as an art gallery

Role of curator is crucial because they are increasing the probability that the right art buyer will connect with the artist.

Just how baby-friendly do you think a visually stunning place like this can really be?Well, I was in for quite a surprise.

What others think…

Quote 1

Ah, Skogskyrkogården: how easy it would be for anyone to miss this.

I admit I wanted to see where Greta Garbo was laid to rest, but I marveled at the expanse of the forest park/cemetery and the contrast between the tall leafy trees with the humble final resting places.

Quote 2

I spent the day on the Waxholmsbolaget ferry to and from Vaxholm. I vastly underestimated how peaceful and beautiful the outlying island(s) in the archipelago are.

Emotionally and psychologically, I understood a little bit better why Stockholm people head out here into the neighboring waters, especially in the summer: they come out here to play and also to relax.

Quote 3

I've heard stories about numerous art installations in the subway, and I want to applaud that initiative especially because I've heard many young artists have a chance to display their works in this way.

Quote 4

Before coming to Stockholm, I already expected that Stockholm Tourism Board will be very useful and helpful, but when I arrived I was even more positively surprised to see how professional they are and how serious they are about what they are doing.

I really want to commend that and I think they are one of the great examples to other tourism boards across Europe.

We all have the potential to be “van Goghs”

We need to open up, be willing to be vulnerable, and let more people – art lovers and buyers – in to see and connect with our work (our brands).

Tack så mycket!
