Computing ⇒ cheaper, not faster (per proc)

Democratization of some HPC Traditional full-function PC will have

integrated high-end graphicsAt least TFLOPS (SP) on your lap

(for some value of “lap”) Cellphone/laptop; or

Yotta-cloud/fog/vapor Nothing in between, as far as you can tell Charged not by rack or proc, but by KWH

And possibly bandwidth.

ParallelismThere will be no savior language or architecture.

But data will be gigantic “embarrassing” or “trivial” parallelism Uninteresting, but practical
