Customize Codes > 901 Codes

Can I change anything else?

• You cannot change anything but NFPA allows departments to further sub-divide 901 codes.

• These are called code plus codes. You can add a number 0-9 or an alphabet character a-z to further track what is happening. Only the original 901 code is reported to NFIRS, the code plus can be reported on by you.

Customize Codes > 901 Codes

Can I delete these codes?• You can delete 901 codes (be careful).• Why do I have to be careful?

• What about legacy data• Will the code be needed again

• You can undelete a code, but it will be at the bottom of the list and you will have to re-order it manually.
