Molecular Analysis
Negative for EWSR1- seen in 50% of myoepithelial tumours
Malignant Epithelioid Schwannoma
Malignant Epithelioid Schwannoma
Tumour in a superficial location Clinically and radiologically no association with
nerve trunks
Differential Diagnosis
Epithelioid MPNST Deeper location Association with a nerve Membranous staining with Collagen IV
Malignant Epithelioid Schwannoma
Half the numbers of cases reported have developed distant metastasis
