Interplast Co. Ltd, a member of Group Harwal was established in 1981 to manufacture PVC
compounds for the GCC market’s. GROUP HARWAL’S technological capabilities assisted
INTERPLAST in rapidly becoming a leading manufacturer of PVC compounds, marketed
under the trade name of IP-HARWAL. In 1984 INTERPLAST diversified into the extrusion of
DECODUCT Conduits and Trunkings for Electrical & Cable Management applications. This
downstream operation was further strengthened in 1987 with introduction of DECODUCT
injection moulding for PVC conduit & trunking fittings.
Over the years INTERPLAST electrical products have gained the confidence and
appreciation of its customers spread over GCC,AFRICA,ASIA and European Regions. To
satisfy the ever-increasing demand of its products, INTERPLAST expanded into new and
spacious factory premises in October 1988. In 1997 INTERPLAST launched the complete
range of EDISON wiring accessories & over the years this range is expanded into one of the
widest range of switches and sockets manufactured in UAE.
INTERPLAST is introducing DECOVOLT range of low voltage switchgears comprising of
Miniature Circuit Breakers, MCB ISOLATORS, ELCB’s, MCB Distribution System &
Fluorescent fixtures. DECOVOLT range is OEM manufactured as per international standards
IEC/EN 60947-3 & 60898, where as the quality management system is certified to
ISO9001 by ASTA U.K. DECOVOLT Products are CE marked declaring conformity to
European standards and safety regulations.

HOUSING:• The housing of Decovolt MCB is Injection Moulded from special grade PBT as per international specifications.• The housing and other moulded components are fire retardant, anti-tracking and non hygroscopic.• The Housing can withstand high temperature and is impact resistant.
CONTACTS:Contacts are made of special silver inlaid into copper strip, ensuring higher life and maximum safety against contact welding and erosion. These contacts have low contact resistance resulting into low watt loss.
CURRENT LIMITING ACTION: The high speed current limiting action ensures that the MCB operate before the full prospective fault current is allowed to develop. Under fault conditions, damage can be sustained to the installation and associated equipment due to the amount of energy that passes before the current is completely interrupted. The total energy let through depends on the value of current and the time for which it flows. The high speed current limiting action of DECOVOLT MCB ensures that the energy let through and any subsequent damage is minimized. This reduced LET THROUGH ENERGY (Class 3 as per BSEN 60898) assists greatly with both back-up and discrimination considerations.
OPERATING MECHANISM: DECOVOLT MCB have a quick make and break trip free mechanism. In the event of an over current or short circuit the MCB automatically interrupts all poles even if the MCB toggle is held in ON position, the handle always indicates the correct contact position.
MODERATE OVERLOAD CONDITION: Detection of moderate Over load conditions is achieved by the use of a Bimetal Overload Relay, which deflects in response to the current passing through it The Bimetal Relay moves against the trip bar releasing the trip mechanism.
SHORT CIRCUIT CONDITIONS: When the current flowing through the MCB reaches a predeter-mined level, the solenoid in Magnetic coil directly pulls in the plunger, which releases the trip mechanism.
PERFECT CONECTIONS: The design of termi-nals makes the wiring easier. A combination box type terminal with combination head screws on both sides with deep serrations ensures sparkles and firm connections.

AGAINST ELECTROCUTIONThe used of exposed, substandard, badly wired, wrongly connected or damaged equipment as well as frayed or badly repaired cables reduces the safety of an installation and increases the risk of person receiving an electric shock.
Electrocution is a passage of current through human body, which is dangerous. The flow of current through human body effects vital functions.
• BREATHING• HEARTBEATA correctly chosen RCCB can detect small currents flowing to earth and reduces the risk of electrocution. However electro-cution should not be viewed in terms of “contact voltage”. A person gets electrocuted by coming in contact with an object that has a different potential from his/her own. The difference in potential causes the current to flow through the body.
AGAINST INDIRECT CURRENTOver current protection devices like MCB are unable to act promptly on small earth leakage currents. To comply with wiring regulations, the earth fault loop impedance in Ohms, multiplied by the rated tripping current of the RCD in amperes must not exceed 50.
Example For and RCD with a rated tripping current of 30mA, the maximum permission earth fault loop impedance is calcu-lated as follows. Zs (max) = 50 /In = 50/0.03 = 1.666

MCB DISTRIBUTION BOARDDecovolt distribution system in sheet steel enclosures is fabricated with utmost precision. Compact designs have been developed to ensure convenience and ease of installation and operation; they favorably match with the national and international technology.
CONSTRUCTIONThe enclosures are fabricated out of best quality CRCA steel sheet for better strength and finish. The distribution systems are supplied duly fitted with Din channel, neutral link earth bar and bus bar, so that the MCB’s of desired number of ratings can be fitted conveniently at site, except for one to four pole enclosures, which are only fitted with Din channel.
POWDER PAINTHigh quality powder paint coated and baked at high temperature, before powder coating the housing go through anti-rust conditioning in seven tank processes to ensure smooth and lasting finish and protection against corrosive atmosphere. All type of DB’s are available in single and two tone colour.
Decovolt elegant distribution systems are designed with the best combination of engineering technology and aesthetic to suit various applications.

Description:
Decovolt fluorescent Batten luminarie suitable for single fluorescent T8 lamp from 18W to 36 W. The luminarie is suitable for suspended or surface mounted application.
Application:Suitable for general lighting applications in indoor areas like offices, schools, hospitals and commer-cial areas like shops etc.
Features: • Sturdy construction.• Switch start circuit.• Easy to install & maintain• Low Energy loss ballast & High ballast factor for maximum light output.• Internal wiring with heat Resistant (105°C) single strand copper wire.

Batten Frame: 0.4 mm thick pre-treated and Powder coated cold rolled steel sheet with 25 microns paint thickness of color RAL 9016.
Ballast: Decovolt Low energy loss, noiseless, operation, low operating temperature, minimum temperature rise. The ballast fixed with screws, nuts & serrated washer ensures positive locking and proper earthing. End Caps: Separate 2 nos. of Polycarbonate end caps are provided, which are flame retardant and self -extinguishing type. Plastic end caps improve the aesthetics of the fixtures. The fixing of lamp holders is simple - slide fit.
Lamp & Starter holders: Flame -retardant polycarbonate with phosphor bronze contacts.
