The Process

• Research carried out in India involving Indian Universities and lading professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountants India (beginning of 2013)

• Discussions with a potential partner ISDC and combined research undertaken (end of 2013)

• Decision to develop a new syllabus. A collaboration between ACCA, CIMA, UWS and ISDC (beginning of 2014)

• New syllabus developmet commencement (mid 2014)

• Syllabus developed and signoff (beginning of 2016)

The Outcome

• An Undergraduate Degree that provides students with a minimum of 2 qualifications in 3 years

✓ BA (Hons) International Business & Finance

✓ Exemptions to 10 professional qualifications

Progress

• Subsequent launch of a MBA for India and Sri Lanka in 2017

• Expansion into the UAE September 2017

• Proposed expansion in 2018
