Demand for downtown creative-style offices
continues to rise
Columbus
• Columbus has one of the most educated workforces in the country and companies, particularly
technology firms, are looking towards prime creative building spaces with a plethora of amenities to tap
into this talent. The demand for premium creative-style offices downtown has outpaced that of other
downtown buildings, where 98.9 percent of existing creative/loft style CBD Class A office space is
occupied. There are a few buildings with creative spaces under construction but the Columbus market
has seen rapid absorption of this property type in recent years.
