Rev. Father Francisco Radecki, CMRI: Along with his twin brother, Fr. Francisco was ordained by Bishop Robert McKenna in 1988. Father is pastor of St. Joseph’s Church in Detroit, Michigan. He has authored two Latin primers, two catechisms, and has co-authored with Fr. Dominic Radecki three books on Vatican II and its aftermath, which have benefited numerous souls
seeking answers to the dilemmas of our day.
Rev. Father Brendan Hughes, CMRI: After his ordina-tion in 1989 by Bishop Rob-ert McKenna, Fr. Brendan Hughes spent two years as-sisting at various parish as-signments and teaching at Mater Dei Seminary. In 1992 he founded Immaculate Con-ception Parish in St. Cloud, Minnesota, where he has been in residence until this past year, when he was transferred
to Mt. St. Michael. Father has also written many articles for The Reign of Mary magazine, especially on the subject of Church history.
Rev. Fr. Gregory Drahman, CMRI: Ordained by Bishop Mark Pivarunas on June 29, 1993, Fr. Gregory has spent much of his priesthood at Ma-ter Dei Seminary in Omaha, teaching classes to seminar-ians and high school stu-dents at Mater Dei Academy. In more recent years he has served at St. Joseph’s Church in Olathe, CO, and Our Lady of the Snow Church in Den-ver, CO, where he is currently
stationed. In addition to his pastoral duties, he maintains an extensive Mass circuit.
Our SpeakersMost Rev. Mark A. Pivarunas, CMRI: Ordained in 1985, His Excellency was raised to the episcopacy in September 1991 by the late Bishop Moi-ses Carmona. Bishop Pivaru-nas is the superior general of the Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen, pastor of Mary Immaculate Church in Omaha, rector of Mater Dei Seminary, and principal of Mater Dei Academy. His Excellency also founded the
Congregation of Sisters of the Mother of God to assist in his work for souls. Bishop Pivarunas is a regular speaker at our annual Fatima Conference, discussing current affairs of the Church in these times of apostasy.
Rev. Father Casimir Puskorius, CMRI: Ordained by Bish-op George Musey in 1986, Fr. Casimir Puskorius served in several parishes until taking up residence at Mount St. Michael in 2001, where he has been pastor since. Father is not only pastor of St. Mi-chael’s parish, and a member of the high school faculty of St. Michael’s Academy, but he is also an accomplished or-ganist and choir director. He
occasionally plays the organ or joins the choir for various ceremonies, when not himself offering Mass.
Rev. Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI: Over the years as a priest and religious, Father Benedict has spent his life in various works in the service of Our Blessed Mother, particularly in the field of education. He founded St. Joseph Seminary in 1999, and is currently pastor of our oldest parish, Mary Immaculate Queen Church in northern Idaho. Father is the editor of The Reign of
Mary magazine and a regular speaker at the annual Fatima Conference.
Rev. Father Michael Anaya, an alumnus of St. Michael’s Academy, was ordained by Bishop Pivarunas in 1997. He has served in various parishes, including Most Holy Rosary Church in Michigan, Our Lady of Victory Church in Ontario, St. Joseph’s Church in Colorado, and here at Mount St. Michael. Father is currently the pastor of St. Mary’s Church in Tacoma, WA, and travels every week to Spokane to assist as a faculty member of St. Michael’s Acad-emy. He will be the emcee of this year’s Fatima Conference.
Mario Derksen, M.A., a native of Germany, is a convert to sedevacantism (2003). A student of classical Thomistic philosophy, Mr. Derksen has a specialized interest in refuting the errors of modern philoso-phy. He holds a B.A. in phi-losophy from Florida Atlantic University (2000) and an M.A. in philosophy from Holy Apos-tles College & Seminary (2004). His master’s thesis, Against the Skeptics: How Thomist Realism Refutes Radical Skepticism, takes to task some of the most fundamental errors in modern philosophy. Mr. Derksen will be giving his address 60 Years of Sede-vacante at the banquet.
Martin P. Hughes, PhD, a graduate of St. Michael’s Acad-emy, received his undergraduate training at Eastern Wash-ington University, and earned a doctorate in organic chemistry from the University of Notre Dame. After his dis-sertation he received a postdoc-toral fellowship to study clinical chemistry at the University of Washington Medical School. For the last 15 years Dr. Hughes has worked in the pharmaceu-tical and biotechnology indus-tries. In addition to his passion for science, Dr. Hughes has a deep and abiding interest in the history and culture of Catholicism. In this Conference, he will address the topic of Our Catholic Heritage.
