Brake’s vision
Brake’s vision is a world where there are zero road deaths and injuries.
We seek to inspire, inform and engage the
government, organisations and communities in the UK
and NZ to take action to achieve vision zero and to
help relieve the suffering of people bereaved or
seriously injured in road crashes.

Five pillars
Brake’s actions are all informed by the Five Pillars of the UN Global
Plan for the Decade of Action for Road Safety (2011) and the safe
systems approach to road safety.

establishment of a Road Collision Investigation Branch
